Every Day Baking, Made the Same Way
A small, seasonal selection from the BakeStudio — the things people have been asking me for since long before the wedding cakes. Same kitchen, same butter, same standards.
Before you order
Pickup only. Everything is collected here in Denton. We're not set up for shipping or delivery.
A week's notice, please. Orders need at least seven days. Custom orders need two weeks. Anything shorter depends on what's already in the oven, and carries a rush fee.
Pick your time. Add your preferred pickup date and time in the comments at checkout, and we'll confirm it. Collections run 9:00 to 6:00, Monday through Saturday. CJ, I’m not sure how to word this, because every pickup is by appointment. I basically work out with the customer when they need to pick up rather than tell them when I’ll be there, because I never know. I may run out to the grocery or supply store, I may have a doctor’s appointment, I don’t actually have certain hours that I’m always physically there. Sometimes, a couple picking up an anniversary cake will come Sunday while I’m at church and I’ll leave the door unlocked for them to grab their cake out of the refrigerator, as I have a camera that can be checked, but I don’t do that for everyone and I don’t announce it. Maybe we should just leave it as you have it, but I don’t want to give the impression that if they want to pick up on a Monday at 10:00a it will always work, or if they need to swing by on a Sunday they absolutely cannot. I’m flexible, but not always available.
Custom orders
Birthdays, showers, and everything else
Cakes for the occasions in between — birthdays, gender reveals, baby showers, anniversaries. Two weeks' notice, and pricing depends on the design.
Many of these come from couples I made a wedding cake for years earlier, which is my favourite thing about this job.
